Backward and brooding, MAC represents the very finest bottling of Shiraz produced at Bird in Hand. Just six barrels are made each vintage of this intense, bold and masculine wine. Wonderful notes of ripe blackberry, cedar oak and peppery, cool climate spice followed by a stunningly proportioned palate of intense dark berries which lead to a richly textured, savoury mid palate. Powerful but elegant French oak adds length and complexity with a long, silky finish. A rich and elegant cool climate Shiraz that will cellar for 20 years and reward a patient collector.
