Description
Fairview’s Single Vineyard “The Beacon Shiraz” has a unique story to tell – at 33°44’ latitude 18°48’ longitude, trigonometric beacon 194 still rises above the ancient metamorphic shale it sits on – soil that has seen ocean beds and explosive volcanic magma – and soil in which Fairview’s intense dark Shiraz berries are grown on today. Aromas of ripe plum, cherry and cinnamon on the nose, whilst the palate is rich and elegant with velvety tannins and complex flavours of red fruits and warm spices.
Food pairing: A wonderful pairing with grilled lamb, grass-fed beef and venison.
Ageing potential: This wine has the potential to mature for 8 – 10 years from vintage.
Alcohol: 14% ABV
